Não tome nada como certo

Nada é certo nesta vida! Mas teimamos.

Agimos muitas vezes como se fossemos eternos

Achamos que jamais perderemos a juventude ou a saúde

Pensamos que jamais faltarão as pessoas que amamos

Que jamais deixaremos de possuir os bens que adquirimos

Ou de ter por perto as pessoas que conquistamos.

Que engano primário cometemos!

Choramos pelo que achávamos  que seria e não foi

Nos sentimos traídos e injustiçados.

Mas não fomos...

Todos os dias é uma dádiva e deve ser agradecida

É uma permissão especial de Deus estarmos aqui

Sentir a brisa, comer, cantar e viver da forma possível

Do jeito que der. Tudo é passageiro...

Em breve estaremos em outra estação

Por isso nada pode ser tomado como certo

Só o amor de Deus por nós.

Do not take anything for granted

Nothing is certain in this life! But we insist.

We often act as if we were eternal

As we will never lose our youth or health

We think that we will never miss the people we love

That we will never cease to own the assets we acquired

Or be around people we concquered

What a primary mistake we make!

We cry for what we thought it would be and was not

We feel betrayed and wronged.

But we were not ...

Every day is a gift and should be thanked

It is a special permission from God to be here

Feel the breeze, eat, sing and live the possible

The way it goes. Everything is fleeting ...

Soon we will be in another station

So nothing can be taken for granted

Only God's love for us.
